Purposes

Document various how to procedures to assist with on-boarding JCI legacy system for Digital Command Performance Services

  • Show how to use different JCI SW Tools to extract information from the JCI System
  • Show how to use a generic BACnet Browser to extract information from the JCI system
  • Show how to extract state-text tables (for multi-state values) from the JCI system
  • Show how to setup and use MSIB (Windows and X300-MSIB versions) to discover BACnet objects from the JCI system and send values to Navigator
  • Show how Desigo CC can discover BACnet objects at the JCI system
  • Show how Desigo Optics can discover BACnet objects at the JCI system
  • Show how to create/load JCI N2 ISB Apps to the BACnet PX controller with N2 Master Integration driver

Accessing Metasys 

1. Locate the icon for Launcer on the Metasys System. If you are logging into a server and you attempt to open Launcher and it does not open it is because only one use may have launcher open at a time (Note Metasys), ask all other users to close launcher and it will open.  

2. Running Launcher and select the SMP tab, in the example below there are two devices to login to. Be sure to select the ADX server.  

3. After selecting the server to login to you will be prompted to login.  

4. After login you will see the main window of Metasys.
